Distinguish

Ya Ya!! It was good to be back with today's new word, which was Distinguish. We used Distinguish in a few different ways. This summer, Hanz and Franz were delighted to be chosen to grace the cover of ROLLING STONE Magazine. We brought in the cover to share with all of you. Some of the titles that were going to be put on the cover were not up to Hanz and Franz standards. We distinguished or contrasted the differences between the good ones that we came up with, and the bad ones that the editors came up with. Some examples we gave were: From the Locker Room to Broadway (Bad headline).....we changed it to From the Gym to the Stage! (Good Headline). Another example was "How to learn Opera in an hour" (Bad Headline)......we changed it to "How to learn Opera in 30 minutes" (Good Headline.....We are fast learners). We distinguished the differences between the headlines and chose the best for us.

We hope you all have fun using the word Distinguish and we will see you next time!
