G'Day, Big Woods!
On Wednesday, I was given the extremely complicated task of teaching everyone about the word AVERAGE. I had to recruit three helpful 4th graders because the Croc Hunter doesn't have any idea what it means to be AVERAGE. Thankfully the 4th graders were able to help me understand and explain to everyone that AVERAGE is a math term too. AVERAGE, as it turns out, is also called the mean. In our math classes we learn to figure out the AVERAGE, or mean, by adding the numbers then dividing by the amount of numbers we added.
I'm so glad we cleared up that confusion. And, just for the record, the Croc Hunter still doesn't know what it's like to be AVERAGE, just how to figure it out!
